American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and cardiac, stroke, and trauma case exposure for a hospital-based role requiring ARRT and CT certification.
Details- Adult acute care and outpatient hospital setting
- Level I Trauma center environment
- Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, head, and neck regions with and without contrast
- Handles musculoskeletal trauma cases
- Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
- 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend coverage required on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on qualifications and demonstrated competencies
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT CT certification and BLS required; ARRT R certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Level I Trauma center experience required
- Cardiac, stroke, and trauma case experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
- Siemens equipment experience preferred
- Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Management or lead experience preferred
- Responsibilities include performing CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and head/neck with and without contrast
- Mandatory orientation is held every Monday along with annual compliance training
- Required compliance modules must be completed prior to start, with annual renewal
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
