Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to become part of a close-knit, community-oriented practice located in the picturesque Sierra Foothills of California.

This position is primarily focused on obstetrics, catering to a grateful and underserved patient demographic, including a significant gynecologic population in a rural area where healthcare professionals are genuinely appreciated. You will be practicing at Sutter Amador Hospital, a well-equipped 53-bed rural facility renowned for its exceptional labor and delivery nursing team, high patient satisfaction rates, and a community that holds Sutter Health in high regard.

Teaching and Professional Growth

Call Schedule (1:3 Ratio)

  • Weekday Call: Tuesday-Thursday, two weeks per month (total of 6 days)

  • Weekend Call: Friday-Monday, one weekend per month (total of 4 days)

Total: 10 call days per month

Physicians will also rotate 1-2 days per month at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento to maintain clinical skills and gain tertiary care exposure.
