Work Schedule

Monday through Friday; various shifts as assigned (additional hours as required; flexible schedules, weekends and after-hours availability necessary at times).

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days per week in office, 3 days remote.

Summary

Systems Engineers are responsible for Identity Management, Platform Engineering, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting highly available and secure technology services and processes.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Engineering and operational support experience with:
    • Identity Management (Entra ID, Active Directory, Enterprise Applications, RBAC)
    • Certificate Auto Management (CyberArk Venafi)
    • Cloud HSM
    • Containerized Platforms
    • Azure and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
    • Privileged Access Management (CyberArk)
  • Kubernetes management, Rancher, Docker, AKS, and Observability
  • Administering and troubleshooting:
    • Windows Server 2019 / 2022
    • Kubernetes
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • VMware
  • Configuring and troubleshooting core services including:
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • Group Policy (GPO)
  • Working closely with IS Operations and Networking to achieve optimal performance of supported technologies.
  • Working in tandem with InfoSec to secure all internally and externally facing systems.
  • Providing technical leadership for deployment of new server-based software platforms and upgrades to existing environments.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Perl, etc.) and scheduled tasks to automate routine tasks and configurations.
  • Ability to perform triage troubleshooting for all systems as a first point of contact with other IT groups.
  • Experience with AWS, SQL, Varonis, and Citrix preferred.
  • Participation in periodic weekly 24/7 on-call rotation.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience at a large law firm or professional services organization strongly preferred.
