Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Job Description

We're hiring a Sweeper Scrubber Operator to join our facility maintenance team in Joliet, IL. In this role, you'll operate an industrial sweeper scrubber machine that combines sweeping and wet scrubbing in a single pass to keep our facility floors clean, safe, and compliant with company standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable operating powered equipment, and wants a consistent daytime schedule with weekends off.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a ride-on or walk-behind sweeper scrubber to clean warehouse, production, or facility floors
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
  • Refill water, detergent, and cleaning solutions as needed
  • Empty debris hoppers and maintain machine cleanliness
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
  • Follow all safety protocols, including pedestrian and forklift traffic awareness
  • Maintain clean, dry, and hazard-free walkways and work areas
  • Complete daily cleaning logs or checklists as required

Qualifications

  • Prior experience operating a sweeper, scrubber, or similar industrial cleaning equipment preferred (training may be provided)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
