Department Description:
As a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist at Wilson Health, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support patient care across the organization. Working closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you help ensure accurate diagnostic results while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages, from neonates through geriatrics. Our Imaging Services team is committed to safety, excellence, teamwork, and exceptional patient experiences.
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiography and computed tomography (CT) procedures as ordered by physicians and interpreted by radiologists. In this role, you will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. You will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service. You will model Wilson Health's core values by delivering compassionate care, demonstrating professionalism and integrity, and supporting innovation and collaboration throughout the department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures in accordance with ARRT standards, Ohio Department of Health regulations, and departmental protocols.
  • Perform CT imaging procedures with the competence and professionalism required by ARRT and Wilson Health standards.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic and CT equipment to ensure quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of imaging procedures throughout the department, including routine radiography, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy, surgical procedures, portable imaging, and special procedures.
  • Assess patient needs based on age, physical limitations, disabilities, and pain levels to provide individualized care.
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and families in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and other departments to support quality patient care and efficient operations.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with clinical education and training opportunities for radiologic technology students.
  • Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, service excellence, and mutual respect.
  • Participate in department and hospital training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned, within the scope of responsibility.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program or equivalent technical education required.
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire.
  • Current Ohio Department of Health Radiographer License required.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • CT certification and experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide care to patients across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to continuing education and maintaining required certifications and licensure.
