This role reports to the Director of MEP / Commissioning (Cx) and works closely with project management, field teams, trade partners, vendors, owners, and commissioning stakeholders to help ensure systems are installed, tracked, tested, and turned over in alignment with project requirements.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for opportunities in Northern Virginia, West Texas, Charlotte, NC, and Kansas City, MO.

OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead day-to-day MEP field execution across assigned areas, workfronts, and system priorities.
  • Serve as Logan Pass Constructions primary on-site representative for MEP coordination with GC site teams, trade partners, vendors, and field leadership.
  • Coordinate delivery sequencing, equipment receipt, tagging, storage compliance, and installation readiness for major MEP assets.
  • Identify field conflicts, constructability issues, and sequencing problems early; escalate material risks with clear recommendations.

Schedule, Planning & Progress Tracking (25%)

  • Drive short-range planning and field look-aheads in alignment with the master project schedule.
  • Coordinate major MEP milestones, workfront readiness, and subcontractor commitments for installation, energization, and startup activities.
  • Track field progress, open items, and execution constraints that may impact turnover dates or downstream commissioning activities.
  • Maintain clear communication with project leadership on status, risks, and upcoming execution needs.

Startup, Energization & Turnover Support (20%)

  • Lead site coordination for startup windows, vendor activities, and turnover readiness across assigned MEP systems.
  • Confirm field readiness for energization and startup, including installation completion, access, documentation status, and system availability.
  • Support energization planning, LOTO coordination, and controlled execution around high-risk startup activities.
  • Coordinate startup witnesses, documentation collection, deficiency tracking, and closeout actions required for Level 3 completion and system handoff.

Safety, Quality & Documentation (15%)

  • Help enforce site safety expectations, field quality standards, and disciplined execution practices across MEP scopes.
  • Verify work aligns with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and project requirements.
  • Maintain organized field documentation, issue tracking, and execution records needed to support commissioning and closeout.
  • Support QA/QC walks, punch resolution, and field verification activities tied to system readiness.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in field supervision, superintendent, or lead field execution roles within mission-critical, data center, or complex MEP/Cx construction environments
  • Related degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, QA/QC, startup, turnover, and high-risk activities including energized work controls and LOTO planning
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with GC superintendents, trade partners, vendors, and client-facing project stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, and field documentation, and use sound judgment in fast-paced project environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and digital field / commissioning tools preferred
  • Ability to operate independently in the field while staying aligned with project management and MEP / Cx leadership
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, hyperscale, colocation, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred
  • Military veteran experience in relevant leadership or technical roles is highly valued

MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid drivers license and ability to rent vehicles
  • Full-time, daily presence at the assigned project site is expected for the duration of the project
