What is a weekend startup?

A Weekend Startup refers to a business or project that is launched and developed primarily over weekends, often by individuals who have full-time jobs or other weekday commitments. These startups are typically in the early stages, focusing on validating ideas, building prototypes, or testing concepts within a limited timeframe. Weekend Startups are popular among aspiring entrepreneurs looking to minimize risk and investment while exploring new business opportunities. Many successful companies have started as Weekend Startups before evolving into full-time ventures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a startup founder, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Startup Founder, you need strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset, often supported by knowledge in your industry and sometimes a relevant degree. Exceptional leadership, resilience, and networking skills set outstanding founders apart. These capabilities are crucial for navigating uncertainty, driving innovation, and building a sustainable business from the ground up.

What are some common challenges faced by team members working in a weekend startup environment?
