Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
Epic system experience is necessary for this position.
Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience in a Level II Trauma setting is required.
Candidates will float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.
They must be prepared to provide nursing care in Med/Tele, Progressive Care, and emergency situations as needed.
They will handle patient management in a variety of medical situations, including postoperative care and high-acuity nursing interventions.
The patient-to-nurse ratio will generally be 3:1.
The unit will typically have a daily census of around 26 patients.
Candidates are expected to provide patient-centered care for adult and geriatric populations.
They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical and respiratory therapists, and social services.
Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, care planning, and patient education.

Experience in telemetry monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias is required.
