• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges, setting the foundation for effective interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that clearly define goals, interventions, and ongoing progress evaluations in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Offer individual and family counseling that assists clients in navigating various life challenges, including academic stress, familial issues, and mental health concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when necessary to ensure the well-being of clients in urgent situations.
• Coordinate with school personnel and community agencies to integrate services and advocate for clients' needs effectively, reinforcing a supportive network around them.
• Engage actively in community outreach efforts to raise awareness of available services and to promote agency initiatives aimed at enhancing educational and social support for students.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development training to foster a collaborative work environment and to stay informed on best practices.

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a variety of psychosocial challenges. Your engagement will focus on providing tailored support to ensure that each child’s unique circumstances—such as family dynamics, academic pressures, and mental health needs—are addressed comprehensively. This position is vital in fostering stronger connections between students, their families, and the resources available to them.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated knowledge of social and economic justice issues, trauma-informed care, and best practices in mental health services.
• Exceptional communication and collaborative skills, with a capacity to engage effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex client situations successfully.

• Experience working in educational settings or with youth populations is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in case management, crisis intervention, or community outreach roles within social service agencies.
• Familiarity with local community resources and support networks available for the vulnerable populations you will encounter.
