Job description

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Service Supervisor at our beautiful Springs at Port Wentworth residential apartment community in Port Wentworth, GA.
Our supervisors are instrumental in maintaining facility operations, creating new efficiencies and developing standards that have a positive impact on resident renewals and customer satisfaction. You will foster a collaborative work environment and encourage the maintenance team to provide great customer service. You will report to our Community Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:
Providing an Exceptional Resident Experience
  • Take pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal, while delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction
  • A team player with a 'no task is too small' mindset! Willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep the community looking great and residents happy, even when the work isn't glamorous

Hands on Work
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep our community running smoothly and making residents comfortable

Day-to-Day Maintenance & Community Operations
  • Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and stepping in for additional needs like unit touch-ups and snow removal (in applicable states)
  • Our communities run on smart technology-you'll use software and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders and keep everything running efficiently

Leading the Team & the Community
  • Be the driving force behind a thriving community by building strong vendor partnerships, keeping budgets in check, and empowering your team with the support and training they need to succeed
  • Drive and participate in a sense of ownership of the physical and financial success of the community

Skills for Success:
  • Brings 2+ years of experience in a multifamily maintenance supervisory role with strong knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, pools, carpentry, drywall, building exteriors, and appliances. EPA and CPO certifications required
  • Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays when the community needs you
  • Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role-bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance), and comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones to stay connected and get the job done
