Overview

PepsiCo Foods Canada has full-time openings in the Frito Lay Distribution Center for a LASR Driver. Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position. Under supervision, performs warehouse duties involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets. Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals. Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required. Deployed on a day-to-day, routine basis against all facets of warehouse operations; in addition, incumbents must demonstrate high levels of performance against these tasks.

Responsibilities

Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.) Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis

Qualifications

Valid G Class Drivers License Clean driver's abstract Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions Ability to handle high-pressure situations
