What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Community Director Float (Property Manager), youโ€™ll provide coverage and operational support across multiple CIHA properties. Youโ€™ll oversee dayโ€toโ€day property operations while ensuring compliance, positive resident relations, and well-maintained communities.

Your dayโ€toโ€day work will include:

  • Managing daily property operations, including rent collection and resident relations
  • Supporting moveโ€ins, moveโ€outs, lease documentation, inspections, and tenant files
  • Conducting unit showings and communicating professionally with prospective and current residents
  • Coordinating maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections with Maintenance staff
  • Performing routine property, commonโ€area, and vacant unit inspections
  • Managing delinquent accounts, notices, repayment agreements, and petty cash reconciliation
  • Preparing reports related to vacancies, inspections, recertifications, and budgets
  • Supporting compliance with subsidized housing requirements and landlordโ€“tenant regulations
  • Assisting with resident activities, community events, and outreach efforts
  • Covering multiple properties as needed to ensure continuity of operations

The Basics

  • 6 months to 24 months of experience in property management or related work

  • Knowledge of landlordโ€“tenant laws and subsidized housing programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License and ability to travel between CIHA properties
  • Ability to perform routine property inspections
