What Youโll Do
As a Community Director Float (Property Manager), youโll provide coverage and operational support across multiple CIHA properties. Youโll oversee dayโtoโday property operations while ensuring compliance, positive resident relations, and well-maintained communities.
Your dayโtoโday work will include:
- Managing daily property operations, including rent collection and resident relations
- Supporting moveโins, moveโouts, lease documentation, inspections, and tenant files
- Conducting unit showings and communicating professionally with prospective and current residents
- Coordinating maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections with Maintenance staff
- Performing routine property, commonโarea, and vacant unit inspections
- Managing delinquent accounts, notices, repayment agreements, and petty cash reconciliation
- Preparing reports related to vacancies, inspections, recertifications, and budgets
- Supporting compliance with subsidized housing requirements and landlordโtenant regulations
- Assisting with resident activities, community events, and outreach efforts
- Covering multiple properties as needed to ensure continuity of operations

This Position Is a Great Fit for Individuals With Experience In:

The Basics
- 6 months to 24 months of experience in property management or related work
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred (experience may substitute yearโforโyear)
- Knowledge of landlordโtenant laws and subsidized housing programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid Driverโs License and ability to travel between CIHA properties
- Ability to perform routine property inspections
