Server
  • This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in our full-service restaurant
  • At least two years experience in a similar restaurants and wine knowledge is required
  • Hourly, plus tips with benefits available

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced server to join our team at Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine. As server's primary objective is to deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests. Our serving staff creates the marvelous experience guests will want to return for by utilizing a positive and outgoing attitude, suggestive selling, steps of service, and wine knowledge. You will work closely with other staff member to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Responsibilities
  • Provide legendary service to bar guests according to standard operating procedures
  • Have adequate menu knowledge and make guest recommendations
  • Taking guests and entering guest orders accurately into Toast handhelds
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences
  • Enhance guest experience to encourage repeat visits by serving food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • Follow Allergy and Dietary Restriction Policy when alerted by a guest
  • Check guests' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Properly open and serve bottled wine to guests
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems
  • Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support restaurant operations
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return, using authentic Turkish phrases
  • Roll silverware and set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, condiments, food, tableware, paper goods, and linens
