Overview Three Oaks Hospitality is looking for hardworking and dedicated server assistants to aid our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. The server assistant's responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties. Qualities To be successful as a server assistant, you should be well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding server assistant should demonstrate effective communication skills and always provide excellent guest service. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Duties/Responsibilities Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests. Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant. Communicate effectively with guests and team members. Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards. Ensure interior and exterior cleanliness of restaurant. Set and reset tables perfectly for guests a timely manner. Sweep floors throughout entire restaurant. Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning. Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately. Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates. Maintain high level of cleanliness and sanitation. Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately. Ability to operate point-of-sale systems. Education and Experience High school diploma of GED. Valid Food Handler Certification. Restaurant industry experience. Physical Requirements Remain standing for extended periods of time. Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 20 lbs. for short distances. Ability to work with varying noise levels.
