Position Summary:
As a Server at Mesero, your primary responsibility will be to sell and serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, timely, and courteous manner. You will handle multiple tables as determined by management, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable and hospitable dining experience. This role requires knowledge of Mesero's food and beverage offerings, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Suggest and serve food and drinks in a timely confident manner, adhering to Mesero's high standards of service.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Mesero's food and beverage offerings, including preparation, ingredients, and presentation.
  • Efficiently use a point-of-sale (POS) system to ring in orders, process payments, and make change.
  • Interact with guests in a welcoming friendly manner, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Check guests' identification to confirm they meet legal drinking age requirements in a polite and responsible manner.
  • Ensure the restaurant is operating smoothly by completing side-work, assisting with cleaning, and resetting tables.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and a neat, clean uniform as part of presenting a polished and professional appearance.
  • Work together as a team with all front and back of house members to maintain culture expectations and guest experience
  • Always strive to anticipate and exceed guest expectations to ensure their complete satisfaction.
