Job description

Springfield Country Club is looking for a dependable, energetic, and hospitality-minded Server Associate to join our Food & Beverage team!

As a Server Associate, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our Members and their guests. You'll work closely with servers, back servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.

The Server Associate is an essential part of our team. You don't have to know everything on day one-but you do need to be willing to learn the SCC Way, work hard, communicate and be part of the team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of a positive attitude, and is committed to providing an outstanding experience for our Members and their guests.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
  • Friendly, professional, and positive attitude

  • Takes pride in keeping dining and service areas cleaned and organized

Responsibilities

  • Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to Members and their guests
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently and according to Club standards
  • Keep dining rooms, service areas, and side stations clean, stocked, and organized
  • Assist with water service, bread service, and other table touches
  • Run food from the kitchen to the dining room promptly and accurately
  • Assist servers with maintaining a smooth flow of service
  • Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management regarding Member needs
  • Help maintain cleanliness throughout the dining rooms and service areas
  • Follow all Club policies, service standards, and safety procedures
  • Provide a friendly and professional presence throughout every shift

Job types: Part-time

Pay range: $5.50 per hour plus a 20% service charge on every check in the dining room or patio dining. There are select member events with pooled tips or 17% service charge.
