CDL A Tanker Driver – Fuel Field Operations & Drive Infrastructure Excellence Across Texas


Job Overview

  • Company: BCAC Underground.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: 20.00–28.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience) plus Performance Bonus.
  • Location: Haltom City, TX / Abilene, TX (Travel required based on project needs).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime and weekend availability as needed).
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid CDL Class A License with Tanker Endorsement.


The Opportunity

BCAC Underground is hiring a dependable, safety-conscious CDL A Tanker Driver to support our Field Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating specialized tanker vehicles, combo units, and hydro-vac equipment to transport liquids, materials, and heavy machinery to and from project sites across the region. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Safely operate Class A commercial tanker trucks, combo units, hydro trucks, and equipment transport trailers to support underground utility, water, and sewer operations.
  • Execute high-pressure water jetting, liquid transfer, and vacuum recovery tasks alongside field crews.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company guidelines.
  • Tank Endorsement is needed. If you do not have it must be willing to get it.
  • Mandatory Tanker Endorsement.
  • Assist field crews with job site logistics, material movement, and equipment positioning when needed.
  • Complete accurate digital driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery manifests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly serviced vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
  • Mandatory Tanker Endorsement.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Physical capacity to lift up to 75 lbs, assist with manual field tasks, and work outdoors in variable conditions.
  • Strong commitment to zero-incident safety standards.
  • NASSCO (this is for our CCTV Operators) so it can come off. Confined Space Entry certifications and Osha 10 Certifications are a plus, but if not we will set them up for training once hired on.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience operating combo trucks, hydro-excavation trucks, or vacuum units in the water/sewer industry.
  • Air Brake Endorsement.
  • NASSCO or Confined Space Entry certifications.
  • Familiarity with local and regional haul routes across Texas.
