Job description

This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven and will work hard to succeed in life by leveraging your CDL to make a great living as a Septic Technician while staying local. Septic experience is not required but is welcomed, we will train you to succeed.

If you are not going to come to work everyday, you are not going to be motivated and have a positive attitude, do not want to provide exceptional customer service and have a selling attitude or do not want to get out of the truck this job is not for you. You will be REQUIRED to use a shovel.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Driver to join our Septic team that has motivation and ability to become a septic technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tanker truck, straight trucks, with trailer. This is a septic position and will require working outside the truck to pump, service, and repair septic systems. Septic experience is not required but participation and the expectation of learning the trade is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tankers, straight truck, pulling trailers and equipment to jobs.
  • Conduct septic repairs, service, and pumping.
  • Load and unload in a safe manner materials and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.
  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport.

Skills

  • Experience operating and performing load/unload tasks.
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Sales and communication with customers.
  • Heavy equipment operation.
