Senior Project Manager
Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager in the Project Management Center of Excellence will be responsible for consistently delivering cross-functional projects required to drive business growth, profitability, and enhance marketplace reputation.
The successful Senior Project Manager will manage cross-functional, cross-disciplinary initiatives that require professional project management support thereby freeing up functional resources from project management activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead medium to large projects for the firm
  • Demonstrate professional project management by organizing, managing, tracking, and monitoring milestones, deliverables, tasks and all aspects of a project plan
  • Partner closely and effectively with executive and senior leaders to manage and assign enterprise-wide projects
  • Ensure timely, relevant, succinct, and high-quality reporting to executives and senior leadership team
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Present concisely and thoughtfully while facilitating discussions that drive clarity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and leaders throughout the entire organization
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions and ensure successful completion.

Required Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of the wealth management and financial services industries
  • Bachelor's or master's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification (certifications may be exempted by leadership based on extensive post-education project management experience).
  • Minimum five years of extensive experience in a complex, project-intensive corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to align project initiatives with organizational strategies for growth and scalability.
  • Experience working and aligning with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, customers, and senior business leaders within business line, user experience, technology, operations, risk management, legal, compliance, and other key partner areas.
  • Prior experience successfully delivering change in a complex environment while managing competing priorities and delivering projects.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, high-performance, and decentralized environment.
  • Skilled communicator, both written and oral. Able to communicate at many levels of the organization, clearly and impactfully sharing thoughts, ideas, and concerns. Recognized by colleagues and collaborators for strengths in this area, leading to positive outcomes for supported initiatives.
  • Experience with facilities buildouts, managing vendors and working with key stakeholders (HR, Legal & Compliance, Technology) who need to be involved
  • Experience with builds in India a plus
