Job description

Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM โ€“ 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule:
Mondayโ€“Friday, 3:00 PM โ€“ 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
  • Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
  • Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
  • Wood working projects.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include: 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
  • Ability to thread pipe and solder copper pipes.
