Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution
  • Lead the delivery of IT and technology implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business and operational needs.

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and detailed schedules.

  • Drive the entire project lifecycle—from concept creation through successful implementation.

  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies where applicable.

  • Maintain visibility into project status, progress, and deliverables for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
  • Facilitate cross-departmental discussions, including difficult conversations, to resolve conflicts and drive consensus.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to break down complex projects into achievable plans.

  • Provide clear, concise updates to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure deliverables meet scope and quality expectations.

Risk & Dependency Management
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.

  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and IT governance standards relevant to utility operations.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–10 years of IT project management experience, preferably within utilities, energy, or infrastructure environments.

  • Proven ability to deliver large-scale technology implementations with minimal oversight.

  • Strong facilitation skills—able to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and guide teams toward solutions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional dependencies and driving execution in complex environments.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred
  • PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.

  • Prior experience managing technology rollouts in utilities or energy organizations.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements impacting IT in the energy sector.

  • Strong background with tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar project management software.
