Their main duties include weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, recording weight data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing customer service. They may also handle payments, maintain records, and monitor the flow of traffic to ensure safety and efficiency. What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a weekend scale master?

To thrive as a Weekend Scale Master, you need attention to detail, basic math skills, and familiarity with weighing and documentation procedures, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with scale management software, truck ticketing systems, and basic computer applications is typically required.
