Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Developer (ServiceMax & Experience Cloud) Location: Lakewood, CO Type: Direct Hire

System One is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a full-time/permanent opportunity in Lakewood, CO. This position provides analysis and functional/technical skills in an existing and emerging Salesforce environment. Candidate will work within the Salesforce and ServiceMax development team. Performs a broad range of tasks which include research, analysis, design, configuration, coding, testing, maintenance, support, training, and implementation of information technology solutions in the Salesforce platform. This position will primarily focus on work within the Experience Cloud ecosystem, including development and optimization of our external-facing portals. The role will also support Agentforce initiatives through the deployment of new virtual agents designed to improve overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and functional/technical skills in an existing and emerging Salesforce environment, including Salesforce and ServiceMax development.
  • Design, develop, and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Agentforce to meet global user needs.
  • Ensure all development tasks follow Salesforce best practices, including governor limits, naming conventions, and maintainable architecture patterns.
  • Implement complex development tasks such as Apex classes, triggers, LWC/Aura components, API integrations, and data model design.
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing, automated testing, peer reviews, and compliance with development standards.
  • Support release management, including version control and deployment strategies.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with product owners, stakeholders, and end users to identify needs and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Stay informed on emerging Salesforce technologies, including AI features and Agentforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Share responsibility for 24-hour on-call problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce declarative development, Force.com development (Apex, Visualforce), Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce communities.
  • Experience with ServiceMax is a plus.
  • Active Salesforce developer certifications (Admin/Adv Admin, PD1, PD2) required.
  • UI/UX design experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agentforce configuration and mobile optimization is advantageous.
  • Experience in writing functional requirements and test cases, with understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Solution architecture skills and experience with code migration tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
