We are seeking a confident and detailed-driven Night Auditor to take charge of our overnight operations and serve as the steady heartbeat of the hotel after dark. In this role, you’ll blend hospitality and precision, delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the day’s financial activity is accurate, secure, and seamlessly closed out. As the primary overnight leader on property, you’ll uphold our service, safety, and compliance standards, support guests and team members with professionalism and warmth, and keep the hotel running smoothly when it matters most.


What You’ll Do

  • Work under the direction of the Guest Experience Manager.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers and guests.
  • Serve as the accountable managerial presence overnight and remain visible and accessible to guests and staff.
  • Communicate regularly with property leadership regarding job assignments and workflow requirements.
  • Monitor and safeguard property financials daily. 
  • Collaborate with on-property leadership & the Accounting Department to ensure expenses and revenues are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, operational, labor and Heritage standards..
  • Close daily business for all outlets and post accurate daily totals.
  • Balance room charges with company systems & Property Management Systems.
  • Perform daily system backups and initiate system maintenance when necessary.
  • Balance daily credit card transactions and transmit settlements through the Property Management System.
  • Identify discrepancies, notify appropriate outlets and document all variances.
  • Ensure proper distribution and secure filing of all daily financial and operational reports.
  • Act as Manager on Duty as required.
  • Support special projects assigned by the GEM/AGM/GM.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client and guest information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of hotel software and property management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making ability in a hotel environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused during independent overnight operations.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver calm, professional customer service during late-night or high-pressure situations, including resolving guest concerns with minimal supervision.
  • Experience maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring property access, following emergency procedures, and responding appropriately to incidents during overnight hours.
  • Ability to perform light housekeeping and facility support tasks such as restocking supplies, maintaining lobby cleanliness, and preparing common areas for the next day’s operations.
