Job description

This position requires a valid drivers license.
Pay Rate: $21 an hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive fleet vehicles (including vans and shuttle busses) transporting guests and team members to various locations on and off property
  • Complete pre-trip vehicle inspection and perform small repairs and light mechanical work and report vehicle problems, accidents and/or citations to supervisor
  • Keep vehicles fueled and interiors and exteriors clean
  • Transport mail and complete other errands
  • Complete daily paperwork

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification- Required:
  • High School Diploma/GED as required by Federal DOT law
  • Valid Class "C" Commercial Driver License with passenger endorsement and DOT physical card
  • Must be 21 years old for insurance purposes

Knowledge and Certification- Preferred:
  • 3 years commercial driving experience

Skills- Required:
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Abilities- Required:
  • Must be able to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
  • Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to serve both internal and external customers
  • Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with moderate amounts of walking and standing
  • Must be willing to drive in all weather conditions
  • Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
  • Must be able to reach and twist routinely
  • Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
  • Must have the ability to independently lift up to 25+ pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • Must have good eye hand coordination
  • Must be able to operate foot pedals

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is performed primarily outdoors in extreme weather, such as high/low temperatures, high winds, snow, and ice
  • Work is primarily performed in the presence of exhaust fumes but may also include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
  • Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
  • High volume direct public contact
