Job Summary

As a Transportation/Driver at Accolade Healthcare, you will be responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings in a safe and timely manner. This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to resident care and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Transportation/Driver, your responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling appointments with various healthcare agencies for residents.

  • Efficiently managing multiple scheduled appointments to meet residents' needs.

  • Providing transportation for resident outings.

  • Scheduling vehicle maintenance as required by the Administrator and/or Maintenance Director.

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of vehicles, both inside and out.

  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the facility’s transportation operations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel as a Transportation/Driver, you will need:

  • A valid Illinois driver’s license.

  • An insurable driving record with a safe driving history.

  • The ability to pass a Healthcare Worker background check.

  • Completion of annual resident transport safety training provided by the facility.

  • Schedule flexibility, with the ability to accommodate weekend transportation needs.

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
