Job description

Our established and growing private practice gastroenterology group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. This role offers a balanced mix of office-based patient care and hospital rounding, including participation in a shared weekend rounding rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to GI patients in an outpatient office setting
  • Perform hospital rounding on GI patients, including shared weekend rotations
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage followup care
  • Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and support teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Deliver patient education and support with a compassionate, professional approach
  • Qualifications:

    Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) OR Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Pennsylvania

    Experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or related specialty preferred

    Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
