Job description

Robot Delivery Specialist

As a Robot Delivery Specialist, you'll be on the front lines of Coco's 24/7 operation—helping prepare, deploy, retrieve, and maintain our delivery robots. Whether you're supporting the early morning rush, an evening handoff, or a late-night recovery, your role is critical to ensuring every robot and delivery runs smoothly.

You'll transport robots to merchant partners, perform basic maintenance, and even complete in-person deliveries when necessary. Your ability to move fast, solve problems, and follow clear procedures will keep the operation running at full speed.

A Day in the Life
  • Prepare and transport robots to partner hubs for operational shifts

  • Respond to robot retrieval calls and ensure quick turnaround of out-of-service units

  • Charge, clean, and perform visual and basic functional checks on all robots

  • Complete hand deliveries to customers when robots can't finish a route

  • Follow structured SOPs using the Field Ops App to track work and report issues

  • Communicate regularly with the central ops and hardware teams

  • Maintain professionalism and deliver high-quality service to customers and merchant partners

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily robot launch and takedown across shifts

  • Ensure robots are charged, clean, and cosmetically sound

  • Perform basic mechanical/electrical checks or troubleshooting

  • Provide last-mile support through direct delivery, when needed

  • Participate in setup and expansion of robot hubs

  • Execute daily tasks assigned via the Field Operations App

  • Follow proper protocols, ensure documentation, and escalate issues appropriately

Schedule Options
  • Full-Time: 5+ shifts per week, rotating weekends

  • Part-Time: 2–4 shifts per week, flexible hours based on availability

  • Shift Coverage needs:

    • Mid Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

    • PM Shift: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

    • Overnight Shift: 12:30 AM – 9:00 AM

Basic Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license

  • Comfortable driving pickup trucks or large vans

  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs regularly

  • Prior work experience in a hands-on, operational, or logistics role

  • Proficient with smartphone apps and mobile communication tools

  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts (including holidays/weekends)

  • Mechanically inclined (robot/electrical/equipment familiarity a plus but not required)
