This opportunity offers a consistent day schedule, no call requirements, and a gross travel package of up to $4,600 per week for 36 hours.

Assignment Details

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the RN First Assistant during surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, tissue handling, and wound closure
  • Deliver exceptional preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility standards
  • Promote patient safety and excellence in surgical outcomes
Qualifications
  • Active RN License
  • Minimum 3 Years of RNFA Experience Required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
  • Must meet all facility-specific health and compliance requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, medications, and perioperative nursing practices
  • Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Additional Details
  • EMR Experience: Cerner Millennium Preferred
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Not Required

  • Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts during the 13-week assignment

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel package.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite.  He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
  • Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
  • Current BLS card.
  • Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
