OR Circulator Registered Nurse Opportunity
MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's surgical team at a premier healthcare facility near Chamisal, NM!
Key Responsibilities for OR Circulator RN:
  • Act as the primary nurse in the operating room, overseeing the surgical environment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 5 days a week.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the operating room by confirming that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and verify patient information, including consent and medical history.
  • Monitor the patient's condition throughout the surgical procedure, responding promptly to any changes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation during the surgical process.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications for OR Circulator Registered Nurse:
  • Active RN licensure in New Mexico is required.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and CPR required; additional certifications in PALS and CNOR preferred.
