Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Pay Rate: $1,800 To $2,120/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Variable 8-Hour Shifts | Weekends & Holidays Required
Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Experience Required
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Long Term Care contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. This position provides comprehensive nursing care in a hospital-based Long Term Care facility, supporting residents through assessments, medication administration, treatments, and daily clinical care while promoting comfort, safety, and quality of life.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and provide individualized nursing care.
Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses according to physician orders.
Assist with admissions, discharges, wound care, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, CPAP therapy, and other skilled nursing procedures.
Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and healthcare team members while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.
RequirementsActive Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License required by the assignment start date.
Current BLS (AHA or equivalent) certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or related nursing experience required.
Experience providing skilled nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on facility needs.
