Job description

The order puller reviews digital or printed pick sheets, navigates warehouse aisles, selects the precise items required, and transports them to a packing or staging station. This role requires high speed, meticulous attention to detail, and substantial physical stamina to meet tight delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret incoming pick lists or RF scanner instructions to locate items.
  • Safely locate and pull products from warehouse shelves, verifying correct quantities, barcodes, and serial numbers.
  • Inspect retrieved items for damage or defects before passing them to the shipping department.
  • Update stock control databases via computer entries or handheld scanning equipment to reflect pulled items.
  • Safely utilize material handling equipment like electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, dollies, and forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation to uphold standard warehouse safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, industrial shipping, or manufacturing facility is highly valued.
  • RF scanning experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification, sit down or standup. (preferred)
  • Work history must be verified prior to employment.
  • Bilingual preferred – conversational English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
