Job description

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse / Forklift  Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77032
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Compensation: $19 - $23/hour DOE

Schedule: 8am to 5pm, M - F

Hiring Immediately - Start

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shipping & Receiving: Receiving incoming shipments.  Pack, label outgoing shipments
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklift
  • Loading & Unloading: Move diverse freight and palletized materials efficiently in and out of storage racks or enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
  • Material Movement: Carefully move product within a warehouse environment.
  • Inventory Management: Use RF scanners to execute accurate put-away, stock replenishment, inventory counts, and order staging.
  • Stock Rotation: Practice first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory controls and report any damaged goods or shortfalls immediately to supervisors.
  • Quality & Housekeeping: Perform pre-shift equipment safety inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain a spotless, organized work zone.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving , and sit-doen forklift operation
  • License: Valid forklift certification/operator card preferred
  • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing RF scanning guns and reading digital warehouse manifests/computer displays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and stand or walk for extended periods during an 8-to-12-hour shift.
  • Environment: Ability to work comfortably in a non-climate-controlled warehouse or outdoor loading dock environment exposed to changing weather conditions.
