Job description

Schedule: Full-time - Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
Work Environment: In-person only

MW Millworks is a locally owned custom millwork manufacturer specializing in high-end, architecturally accurate millwork for both new construction and impact-rated projects, with approximately 30% of our work dedicated to historic restoration. Located in North Charleston, we partner with builders, architects, and designers to produce premium-quality doors, windows, mouldings, shutters, and custom elements. Our team combines craftsmanship with precision tooling to deliver projects that enhance Charleston’s architectural landscape—whether preserving history or creating something entirely new.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to produce detailed technical drawings for our
custom millwork projects, with a special focus on historic restoration. Your work will
guide our production team from concept to completion.

What You’ll Do
 Create accurate CAD drawings for new builds and restoration projects.
 Collaborate with project managers and production teams.
 Revise drawings based on team feedback and site measurements.
 Ensure compliance with preservation standards.

Who You Are
 Pride in precision
 Collaborative and adaptable to changing project needs.
 Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Qualifications
 Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in millwork or restoration drawings.
 Knowledge of architectural and woodworking concepts.
 Ability to interpret specifications accurately.

Why Work With Us
In-office, hands-on culture where your work makes a visible impact.
Collaborative, tight-knit team passionate about craftsmanship and quality.
Competitive benefits, including employer-sponsored health insurance.
Stable, full-time position with consistent 40 hours and a great schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
(Your weekends start early!)
