Administrator on Duty (AOD) – Weekend Residential Coverage

About Us
Greystone Programs, Inc. is a nonprofit human services organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Dutchess, Ulster and Orange Counties. We're looking for a reliable, take-charge professional to serve as our weekend Administrator on Duty (AOD), providing administrative oversight and on-call support across all Residential sites.

Schedule
Friday–Monday, with on-call responsibility from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM.

Position Summary
The Administrator on Duty provides administrative oversight and supervision to all Residential sites during weekend hours, serving as the agency's point of contact for operational, safety, and emergency needs when regular business office support is unavailable. This is a critical role for ensuring the continuity of care and safety of the individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all calls related to Residential operations from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM
  • Ensure all residential sites are adequately staffed; coordinate coverage for unexpected staff absences using scheduling software
  • Proactively monitor safety and health issues, coordinating care with the weekend nursing service
  • Act as liaison among nursing, Behavioral Supports, Residential Management, and Directors during emergencies
  • Support direct support staff and communicate with the Behavioral Supports Department during behavioral events
  • Report all health or behavioral incidents to the appropriate personnel
  • Liaise with the Quality Improvement Department on incidents occurring during AOD hours; initiate preliminary investigations/inquiries into injuries and other situations as appropriate
  • Communicate emergency facilities needs to the Facilities Department over the weekend
  • Enter new medications, consults, and medical issues into the agency's medical consult system and e-MAR system
  • Provide an end-of-shift report and attend debriefing meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations as they relate to residential services
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in an OPWDD residential setting
