Job description

Help Us Eradicate Distracted Driving Across the US as our Senior Project Manager

At Acusensus, we don't just build technology; we save lives. We are looking for a technically-minded Senior Project Manager to lead the charge in deploying our world-first AI road safety solutions across the United States, turning complex contracts into tangible community impact.

Why Join Us
  • Mission with Meaning: Join a technology success story where your daily work directly reduces road fatalities and injuries through advanced imaging and AI.
  • Scale at Speed: We are rapidly expanding our North American footprint; you will be at the forefront of scaling our US infrastructure and managing high-stakes state contracts.
  • Innovation-First Culture: Work with "the smartest team members on the planet" in a collaborative environment that values delivery, integrity, and people-first leadership.
About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager based in our Las Vegas hub, you will be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and real-world implementation. This is a technical, high-impact role focused on the "Transition-In" phase-taking multi-state US contracts from tender and design through to successful Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations. You will navigate cross-functional landscapes, aligning engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to ensure our life-saving tech is deployed flawlessly.

You'll be the first member of our US-based "Transition-In" team, a group typically defined by high energy and a "get-it-done" attitude. Based in Las Vegas and reporting to the Transition-In Lead based in Australia, you'll collaborate regularly with our Australian R&D teams and UK counterparts, balancing the fast-paced nature of a global scale-up with a supportive, care-driven office culture.

What You'll Do
  • Execute End-to-End Delivery: Own the full lifecycle of project tenders, design, and implementation for major US road safety contracts.
  • Bridge the Technical Gap: Translate complex engineering requirements into actionable project plans, ensuring all deliverables are technically sound and strategically aligned.
  • Drive Operational Readiness: Lead seamless handovers to BAU teams, ensuring operational personnel are trained and equipped to sustain high service levels.
  • Influence Stakeholders: Act as the primary liaison for state-level clients and vendors, negotiating outcomes that foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Optimize Resources: Mastermind project budgets and contractor management to ensure resources are maximized and financial targets are met.
  • Champion Quality: Embed ISO standards (9001, 45001, 27001, 14001) and robust governance into every project phase to maintain organizational integrity.

Requirements

What You Bring
  • Technical Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally managing complex infrastructure, system integration, or government contracts.
  • Toolbox Proficiency: Deep experience with Smartsheet, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence for tracking high-velocity project data.
  • Adaptable Leadership: A proactive, "people-first" mindset with the ability to lead virtual and face-to-face workshops across different time zones.
  • Certification in PMP, PMI, Prince2, or Agile is highly desired.

Benefits

  • Location: Las Vegas, NV (with occasional national travel on short notice)
  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 USD per annum
  • 401k
  • Health plan: Medical, dental and vision
  • Paid time off
