Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional well-being, utilizing established evaluation tools.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and group therapy techniques, to improve clients' mental health outcomes.

  • Provide crisis intervention to clients facing urgent mental health challenges, ensuring immediate and appropriate support is offered.

  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to develop comprehensive mental health care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children, adolescents, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. By establishing a trusting relationship with clients, you will empower them to navigate their emotions, devise coping strategies, and achieve their goals for mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) is mandatory.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and familiarity with treatment modalities suited for diverse populations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
