• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to effectively identify clients' mental health needs and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their objectives.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, focusing on individual treatment strategies that resonate with clients.
• Utilize teletherapy tools to conduct virtual sessions, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, skillfully navigating high-stress situations to support clients in immediate need.

You will primarily work with adult clients, offering individualized therapy that addresses a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. SLI Community Mental Health Center serves a diverse population, reflecting the varying backgrounds, cultures, and experiences of clients in Tucson, Arizona. Your empathetic and non-judgmental approach will foster trust and encourage clients to engage fully in their healing process.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental demeanor essential for fostering a therapeutic alliance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• No history of disciplinary actions on board.

• Experience in individual counseling with diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for virtual care.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to various mental health conditions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
