Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging and constructive group sessions where clients can share experiences and foster support systems among peers.
• Providing Individual Therapy: Offer tailored, empathetic counseling sessions aimed at helping clients explore personal thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards actionable goals.
• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring their personal needs and desires are prioritized.
• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, evaluating outcomes and adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and results.
• Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside other mental health professionals to coordinate care and discuss complex client cases, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will engage with clients who are navigating diverse mental health challenges, providing them with the support and resources they need to build resilience and achieve recovery. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in counseling and practicing with integrity.

Preferred Experience

While entry-level candidates are welcome, the following experiences are preferred:

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to young adults or adolescents.
