Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging and constructive group sessions where clients can share experiences and foster support systems among peers.
  • Providing Individual Therapy: Offer tailored, empathetic counseling sessions aimed at helping clients explore personal thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards actionable goals.
  • Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring their personal needs and desires are prioritized.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in counseling and practicing with integrity.
