About the Role

We are working with a client seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and related infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across the environment
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related platforms
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and backups
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Document systems, configurations, and procedures
  • Support end users and collaborate with the broader IT team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a systems administration role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure or AWS
