Working remotely, our Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor will benefit from a flexible schedule designed to promote work-life balance. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and delivering therapeutic feedback regularly.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to integrate care, ensuring a cohesive approach to the management of mood disorders.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including case consultations and team meetings, to improve clinical skills and stay current on best practices.
• Act as an advocate for clients, aiming to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote awareness of mental health needs within the community.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at L&C Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. With a focus on developing trust and rapport, you'll provide a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, ultimately facilitating their journey towards recovery.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensing as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, with all necessary state-specific qualifications.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, with a specialization in mood disorders strongly preferred.
• An expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential for effectively engaging clients.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration skills to work alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Excellent communication abilities and a talent for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
