Work Environment

This position primarily involves remote work, allowing therapists the flexibility to conduct sessions from their home office or any location conducive to effective therapy. Our outpatient facility in Pittsburgh provides resources and support to facilitate collaboration among our therapy team. While primarily remote, there may be opportunities for occasional face-to-face meetings and trainings to strengthen team cohesion and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and support systems.
• Provide individualized, family-based, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.
• Implement various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to foster healing and growth.
• Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, establishing clear therapeutic goals and interventions to track progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and seamless care experience for clients.
• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary, formulating safety plans and interventions to protect client welfare.
• Maintain diligent and timely documentation that meets ethical standards and organizational requirements.

Better Mindset Counseling serves a diverse clientele composed of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Our focus is on addressing multifaceted mental health needs, including children and adolescents facing familial challenges, couples dealing with relational issues, and adults managing anxiety or trauma. Qualifications

• A valid state-issued license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field; additional education and training in therapy preferred.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating competency in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a willingness to continue exploring new methodologies.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting and with diverse patient populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
