Their tasks may include monitoring information feeds, preparing intelligence reports, and supporting decision-making processes outside of standard weekday hours. These roles are often found in organizations that require round-the-clock intelligence monitoring, such as government agencies, security firms, or multinational corporations. Remote analysts use digital tools to access classified or sensitive information securely from their home or another remote location. The position requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and the ability to work independently.

Will AI replace intelligence analysts?

AI can automate certain data analysis tasks for intelligence analysts, improving efficiency and handling large volumes of information. However, human judgment, critical thinking, and contextual understanding remain essential, so AI is more likely to augment rather than fully replace intelligence analysts.

Does the CIA have any remote jobs?

The CIA offers some remote positions, including roles like intelligence analysts, which may involve telework depending on the specific job and security requirements. These positions typically require specialized skills, security clearances, and adherence to strict confidentiality protocols.

What are some common challenges faced by Weekend Remote Intelligence Analysts, and how can they be managed?

Proactively documenting findings and maintaining clear handover notes for weekday teams can also help ensure continuity and accuracy in intelligence reporting.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Decision Intelligence Analyst based in Netherlands.

This role sits at the core of an AI-driven decision intelligence platform, where the focus is not just on generating outputs but on ensuring those outputs are logically sound, defensible, and decision-grade. The analyst acts as a critical quality layer for reasoning systems, evaluating how decisions are formed rather than just what is produced. You will work closely with product and research teams to strengthen the integrity of AI judgment frameworks. The environment is highly analytical, research-driven, and deeply focused on structured thinking and continuous improvement. Your work directly shapes the reliability and trustworthiness of advanced decision systems. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys dissecting complex reasoning and improving how intelligent systems think.

Accountabilities:
  • Evaluate AI-generated decision outputs to ensure logical consistency, reasoning strength, and overall integrity, identifying gaps in multi-step inference and tradeoff handling.
  • Detect patterns of reasoning failure, inconsistency, or drift, and document recurring weaknesses in decision pathways.
  • Design structured feedback mechanisms and evaluation rubrics to continuously improve AI judgment quality.
  • Contribute to the development of training frameworks, including edge-case libraries and structured examples for model refinement.
  • Define and maintain measurable standards for decision-quality outputs, ensuring consistency and reliability over time.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to align reasoning quality improvements with system evolution and roadmap priorities.
  • Surface systemic flaws in reasoning logic early and propose structured enhancements to improve decision architecture.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex, multi-step reasoning processes and evaluate them critically.
  • Experience in working with AI systems, decision frameworks, applied analytics, or other highly structured problem-solving environments.
  • Ability to formalize judgment criteria and translate abstract reasoning quality into measurable evaluation standards.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong emphasis on structured thinking and clarity.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, edge cases, and incomplete information while maintaining analytical rigor.
  • Background may include applied AI evaluation, consulting, economics, operations research, philosophy of logic, or similarly rigorous analytical fields.
  • A mindset focused on questioning, refining, and improving reasoning systems rather than accepting outputs at face value.
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-driven decision intelligence systems with high-impact outcomes.
  • Remote or flexible working arrangements depending on organizational setup.
  • Exposure to advanced AI research and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and skill level.
  • Opportunity to directly influence the reliability and quality of enterprise-grade AI decision systems.
  • Fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment focused on learning and continuous improvement.
