• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and intake interviews to identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic methods to meet individual client goals and preferences.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions aligned with best practices in the mental health field.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, documenting treatment progress and outcomes effectively.
• Participating in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills, including attending workshops and continuing education opportunities.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Insightful Journey Counseling, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in building rapport, understanding, and trust, as you empower clients to overcome their emotional struggles and enhance their quality of life.

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling is preferred.
• At least one year of proven experience in conducting individual and group therapy within a mental health setting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and their practical application in treatment settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to upholding ethical principles and maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions.

• Experience in trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or working with culturally diverse populations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques is advantageous in this remote setting.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $80,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary, we are pleased to provide a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
