This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule, including opportunities for evening and weekend hours. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' histories related to substance use and mental health, ensuring accurate and informative data gathering.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying mental health issues, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure an integrated approach to care, participating in regular case reviews and team meetings.
• Educate and involve clients’ families in the recovery process, facilitating family therapy sessions that support the client and their loved ones.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records as mandated by regulatory guidelines and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

You will primarily work with clients grappling with substance abuse issues, particularly those affected by co-occurring disorders. Our diverse patient population includes adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to support their unique recovery journeys. Your role as a Mental Health Counselor is pivotal in creating meaningful engagement and promoting sustained recovery.

• A valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven training and expertise in addiction counseling, supplemented by familiarity with evidence-based practices.
• Strong therapeutic skills, including the ability to foster client motivation and support their recovery journey effectively.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

• Experience in a clinical setting focused on addiction treatment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Integrated Care Models and the ability to work with other healthcare specialists to coordinate client care.
• Previous experience with family therapy and psychoeducation.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
