• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges to inform service delivery.
• Develop and implement detailed service plans that set achievable goals and clearly outline interventions and monitoring strategies.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, offering support and guidance tailored to the specific circumstances of each client.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized action plans and link them with relevant community resources.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, performing risk assessments and helping clients develop safety plans as necessary.
• Work alongside community organizations to coordinate comprehensive services and advocate for clients’ needs.
• Engage in community outreach efforts aimed at raising awareness about agency services, enhancing visibility, and increasing program participation.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing staff training to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Your work will primarily focus on helping individuals and families who are facing significant life challenges, such as poverty, trauma, mental health issues, and domestic crises. You will act as a vital resource in their journeys towards recovery and stability, empowering clients to overcome obstacles and access necessary resources.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues, relevant community resources, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating cultural competence and a capability in problem-solving.

• Previous experience working within a social service agency or a comparable environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in social work and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration will be advantageous.
