• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for clients to evaluate their mental health concerns and identify appropriate treatment pathways.
• Create individualized treatment plans based upon thorough understanding of clients' histories, challenges, and personal goals, ensuring a tailored approach to healing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients navigate their mental health journeys.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers—to provide integrated care that addresses all facets of the client's well-being.
• Educate and support families involved in the client's care, fostering their understanding of mental health issues and encouraging their active participation in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will involve working with a diverse client base, including adults and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds and cultures of each client, you will promote an inclusive therapeutic environment that fosters healing and growth.

• A current and valid license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field relevant to mental health therapy.
• A solid foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices, coupled with a nuanced understanding of various mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients, establish trust, and motivate them throughout their recovery process.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.

• Demonstrated experience in clinical settings, providing direct mental health services, especially in a community health or remote setting.
• Specialized training in modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or similar techniques.
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations, with a focus on promoting cultural competence within therapeutic practices.
