This position is designed to be remote, focusing on telehealth modalities to engage with clients. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to gain insights into clients' mental health concerns, which will inform treatment plans.

• Developing tailored therapeutic strategies and personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and objectives.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches, ensuring that clients receive the most effective care available.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide integrated and cohesive care for each client.

• Educating and involving clients’ families in the therapeutic process, promoting understanding and engagement in their loved one's recovery journey.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential records in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, essential for ensuring quality of care.

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more severe mental illnesses. Our clinic emphasizes a client-centered approach, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships that promote trust and openness. As part of your responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in facilitating client recovery and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling, particularly through specialized training or extensive clinical experience.

• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to a variety of mental health disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic abilities, with a proven capacity to build rapport and effectively motivate clients during their recovery.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

While not required, additional experience in particular therapeutic modalities, cultural competency, or specific client demographics may further enhance your contribution to our clinic and client care. Candidates with experience using telehealth technology will have an advantage in adapting seamlessly to the remote work environment.
