Kindered Soul Counseling Center is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of working remotely while primarily focusing on outpatient therapy services. • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy to clients seeking outpatient services, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational, emotional, and psychological needs, developing tailored treatment plans that map out achievable goals.
• Utilize family systems theory and practices to address complex relationship dynamics, empowering clients to enhance communication and strengthen their familial bonds.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations with effective interventions that ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their families, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
• Keep meticulous and confidential client records, documenting progress notes and treatment plans while adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Provide clients with psychoeducation on essential skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies necessary for improved interpersonal success.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow therapists and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Our client base encompasses individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of challenges, including relationship issues, emotional distress, and a range of mental health concerns. You will support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs. Many clients may be dealing with significant life transitions, family dynamics, or trauma, requiring sensitivity and adaptive intervention methods.

• A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts or in the state where you practice.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline is highly preferred.
• At least one year of practical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, vital for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
• A commitment to ethical practices and the confidentiality of client information.
• Proficient in working independently while also being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility regarding working hours to accommodate the scheduling needs of clients, necessitating some availability for evening or weekend sessions.

• Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting is highly desirable and can enhance your candidacy.
• Knowledge or experience in specialized areas such as addiction counseling, trauma-informed care, or family dynamics can be beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and treatment progress.

• Salary range: USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, contingent on qualifications and experience.
