Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy to clients seeking outpatient services, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational, emotional, and psychological needs, developing tailored treatment plans that map out achievable goals.
  • Utilize family systems theory and practices to address complex relationship dynamics, empowering clients to enhance communication and strengthen their familial bonds.
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations with effective interventions that ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their families, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
  • Keep meticulous and confidential client records, documenting progress notes and treatment plans while adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs. Qualifications
  • A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts or in the state where you practice.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline is highly preferred.
  • At least one year of practical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in a clinical setting.
