As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate each client’s substance abuse history and mental health status.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, adapting strategies as needed for optimal results.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure integrated and effective care for all clients.
• Educate clients’ families about the recovery process, fostering family involvement as a crucial part of treatment efficacy.
• Documentation and record-keeping in compliance with local and federal regulations, ensuring all treatment plans and progress notes are updated and accurate.

Your primary focus will be working with adults struggling with substance use disorders and related mental health issues. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have a range of socioeconomic statuses. Acknowledging and addressing the unique cultural and social factors that affect their recovery is an integral component of therapy.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license to practice as a LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated training or experience focusing on addiction counseling.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices catered to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with an ability to engage and motivate clients in their treatment journey.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, vital for documentation and client interactions.
• A proven track record of working collaboratively within healthcare teams to achieve common goals.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
